Upon arriving in Kunming, your tour guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. Then you can have a free leisure around Cuihu Green Lake or Jinma Biji Fang as option for the rest of the day.
After breakfast, drive 180km (2.5 hours) to Red Land Town of Kunming Dongchuan Area. When arrive there, you will learn more local folk customs, assure enough time for good rest and a full preparation for photoshooting. In the later afternoon, you'll go to the Damakan for a sunset photo shoot.
A very early morning drive to Luoxiagou for a sunrise photo shooting. Then return to Hotel for breakfast. Then, you continue to go around Red Land Area for your photo shoot. There you will led to a usual place or feel free to find a good place for more shooting on your angle.
September to December and May to June are the best time to visit Dongchuan Red Land. The red land near Kunming consists of hundreds of terrace fields and is praised as a palette on earth, and it is more and more favored by backpackers, hikers and photographers from all over the world. In the later afternoon, you'll transfer back to Kunming. Stay overnight near Stone Forest.
Get up very early for sunrise photo shooting of Stone Forest. The Stone Forest covers 26,000-hectare and from a distance, it does indeed look like a forest of stones with its peaks and odd-shaped rocks standing straight up from the ground. You can walk around the forest on paths and take a photoshoot of sunset or dusk sight of Stone Forest there. Stay overnight near Stone Forest Park.
In the afternoon, you will be driven about 2.5 hours to Jianshui. Upon arrival, enjoy a photo shoot of the sunset and dusk in Jianshui Ancient city.
Enjoy a morning sight (sunrise depends on the weather) of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, a holy mountain for the Naxi people that is located 15km north of Lijiang city. Then with an altitude of 5600 meters (18,400 feet) above sea level. Visit villages (Yuhu Village and Shuhe Village for options) of Naxi people.
Stroll through Baisha Old Town, which is an enchanting traditional Naxi style old town, where houses Baisha Murals made in succession from the early Ming dynasty to the reign of Emperor Qianlong in the Qing dynasty. These mural paintings, with their fine and smooth lines, bright colors, vivid pattern and balanced and harmonious composition are a wonderful sight.
A morning drive to Yuanyang. On the way, you will visit Jingkou Hani Ethnic Village for a photoshoot of ethnic culture. Today tour will end with a photoshot of sunset at Tiger Mouth Rice Terraces.
Get up early morning and drive 28km to enjoy a spectacular view of sunrise from the scenic mountain rice terraced fields at Duoyishu Village. In the afternoon, Bada Hani terraced fields and Azheke Village. Then shoot the sunset of terraced fields in Longshuba until the dusk.
Drive back to Kunming. Then Take the flight to depart from Kunming airport for your next destination.
