Inspection for distribution of all categories of Yunnan tea, wholesale channels, warehousing, and inquiry with brand distributors. Horizontal cupping of multiple brands of raw/ripe Pu'er, Dianhong (Black Tea), and White Tea.
In the afternoon, Yunnan Tea Culture Museum. Systematically review the history of Dian tea, the Ancient Tea Horse Road, and the processing techniques of the six major tea categories. In the evening, have a business dinner with a tea enterprise to connect with supply chain resources of top Kunming tea merchants.
Depart Kunming in the morning and take 2.5-3hours' bullet train to Pu'er. Upon arrival, transfer to Pu'er City Tea Trading Market to inspect the distribution of local terrace tea and ancient tree tea raw materials.
In the late afternoon, visit BeanGreat Coffee Estate (Standardized large-scale green bean processing plant) for an inspection: Fully automatic washed processing, constant-temperature warehousing, export-grade green bean production line. Cupping comparison between commercial beans and specialty beans.

Morning visit to Xiaoaozi Coffee Estate (Benchmark from the movie "Coffee or Tea?", tea-coffee mixed ecological forest, sun-dried/anaerobic honey processing full techniques, fresh cherry picking experience). At noon, simple lunch at the estate, hiking through tea-coffee mixed gardens.
In the afternoon, visit Ai Ni Coffee Estate (Rainforest shade-grown planting, coffee variety gene bank, coffee + ranch composite agricultural model). And then proceed to Elephant Coffee Estate (Mountain organic coffee, human-elephant coexistence ecological planting, hilltop tasting deck).
In the evening, return to the city center to taste local Pu'er ancient tree tea, comparing the terroir logic of coffee and tea. Stay overnight in Downtown Simao of Pu'er.
Depart early (about 3 hours' drive) for Yiwu, Mengla, the core part of the Ancient Six Tea Mountains: Yiwu Old Street + Mahei Village
In the afternoon: Yiwu Old Street (Century-old Ancient Tea Horse Road town, time-honored tea houses, traditional stone-mold cake pressing workshops).
In the evening: Mahei Ancient Village. Hike through 10,000 mu of ancient tea gardens, visit local time-honored tea enterprises, taste Yiwu's soft and fragrant ancient tree tea. Gather around a stove in an ancient town homestay to taste Yiwu ancient tree tea while learning about the history of the Ancient Six Tea Mountains.
Depart by 2.5 hours' drive in the morning for Menghai, Xishuangbanna. Arrive in Menghai by noon for lunch.
An afternoon visit to Nannuo Mountain Thousand-Year Ancient Tea Forest (Banpo Old Village and Bama Old Village). (Prelude to the Six Great Tea Mountains). Field visit to century-old contiguous ancient tea trees, visit farmers' primary processing stations, observe manual kill-green (sha qing) and sun-drying. Compare raw material differences between terrace tea and ancient tree tea.
In the evening: Menghai Tea Trading Market (The largest Pu'er raw material distribution center in China). Browse night market tea stalls and raw material trading markets; negotiate with local tea farmers and processing factories.
Full-day mountain entry (1.5 hours' mountain road one way) into Bulang Mountain. Lao Banzhang & Xin Banzhang "Tea King" Villages are the Core of famous Pu'er Tea Mountains). A morning visit to Xin Banzhang Village, farmers' bases, taste Xin Banzhang ancient tree tea. Dai-style village lunch at noon.
In the afternoon, proceed to Lao Banzhang Village (Check-in at the Tea King Tree, full-area hiking in ancient tea gardens, symposium with top tea farmers, research on raw material pricing and procurement models).
In the evening: Return to Menghai County Town. Visit a large-scale refined tea factory (steaming/pressing, warehousing, ripe tea fermentation workshop).
Leave Bulang Mountain in the morning(about 2.5 hours) , pass through Hui-Meng Road Lancang to reach the Huimin Town, the gate of Jingmai Mountain, UNESCO World Heritage Jingmai Mountain Ancient Tea Forests.
In the afternoon, Visit Jingmai Dazhai 10,000-mu thousand-year contiguous ancient tea forest. Visit Dai and Blang ethnic tea farmers, inspect understory organic planting models. And then visit Wengji Blang Ancient Village. Visit traditional handmade tea processing and the Ancient Tea Museum. Stay on the tea mountain; wake up early to see the sea of clouds over the tea gardens.
After breakfast, you will have a Full-Day In-Depth Ancient Tea Research around the mountain. Hiking through the sea of clouds and tea gardens on Jingmai Mountain at dawn.
1. Mangjing Upper & Lower Villages Ancient Tea Gardens: Compare the flavor differences between Mangjing and Jingmai mountain heads.

Descend the mountain early and (Approx. 3.5h) head to Mengku Bingdao Five Villages (Pu'er Benchmark Production Area) in Shuangjiang, Lincang.
In the afternoon, go to Mengku Tea Market Distribution Center. Research the circulation of Mengku large-leaf species raw materials. Then Preliminary visit to Bingdao Five Villages (Bingdao Laozhai, Dijie, Nanpo, Bawai, Nuowu peripheral tea gardens). Brief cupping of Bingdao sweet tea. Stay overnight at Mengku Town to facilitate full-day mountain entry the next day.
Full-day deep traceability in the Bingdao production area. A morning visit to core ancient tea trees in Bingdao Laozhai and farmers' primary processing stations. Symposium on Bingdao raw material grading and market trends.
In the afternoon: Sequentially visit the other four villages (Dijie, Nanpo, Bawai, Nuowu) for horizontal comparison of terroir and flavor profiles across the five villages. In the late afternoon, drive about 2 hours to Fengqing and check in.
Full-day black tea industry research, sole designated spot: Dianhong Group.
A morning tour of Dianhong Group factory area—large-leaf tea gardens, withering, rolling, fermentation, drying full modern black tea production line; Dianhong History Museum.
In the afternoon: Fengqing local ancient tree black tea base. Hands-on handmade Dianhong production experience, cupping comparison of multiple Dianhong grades. Then Business docking with Dianhong tea enterprises.
Full Day for Western Yunnan Coffee Supplementary Inspection: Depart in the morning for Xinzhai Village, Lujiangba, Baoshan, Coffee closing spot (China's No. 1 Coffee Village).
Inspect Xinzhai 10,000-mu coffee terraces: Gaoligong Mountain dry-hot valley coffee planting, Dai smallholder processing models, Coffee Museum. Compare terroir differences between Pu'er small-grain coffee and Baoshan Lujiangba coffee. Return to Baoshan for overnight stay.
Early morning train to Dali or Kunming for Departure. End of itinerary.
