Located in Xi'an, Shaanxi, The Terracotta Army, also Terracotta Warriors and Horses, is a collection of thousands of life-size clay figures created to accompany the tomb of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it's considered one of the greatest archaeological discoveries and ancient wonders in history.

Built for Qin Shi Huang, China's first emperor, it was buried over 2,000 years ago to guard his mausoleum in the afterlife. Discovered by local farmers in 1974, the site holds thousands of life-sized clay warriors, horses and chariots.

Each soldier features unique facial features, hairstyles and armors, showcasing superb ancient craftsmanship. Arranged in neat battle formations, they perfectly reflect the grand military power of the Qin Dynasty. It is not only a treasure of Chinese civilization but also a magnificent miracle of ancient world art.
