Located in Jiangjin District, Chongqing, Simian Mountain is a national 5A-level scenic area and a gem of subtropical primitive ecology. Covering 213 square kilometers, it's a rare "natural species gene bank" with a 95.4% forest coverage.

DUBBED the "Land of a Thousand Waterfalls", it stars Wangxiangtai Waterfall—158 meters high, China's tallest single-drop waterfall, framed by heart-shaped Danxia cliffs. Other highlights include Honghai Lake's emerald waters, Tudi Rock's stunning Danxia murals, and the ancient "Love Ladder" site.
