On the north Yangtze River's bank in Zhongxian, Chongqing, Shibao Zhai Temple is a national key cultural relic and 4-level scenic spot, known as the "Pearl of Stone Fortress on the Yangtze River".

Built during the Ming Dynasty (over 400 years ago), it features a 12-story, 56-meter-high all-wooden tower clinging to the sheer Yuyin Mountain Cliff. Crafted with mortise-and-tenon joints without a single nail, it's China's largest existing column-and-tie wooden structure.Composed of a gate, tower and an ancient temple at the top, it blends natural cliffs and traditional Chinese architecture. Honored as one of the "World's Eight Marvelous Buildings", it stands as a testament to ancient Chinese ingenuity.
