Designed by Pritzker laureate Fumihiko Maki, the Sea World Culture and Arts Center (SWCAC) is a minimalist white landmark in Shekou, Nanshan District, opened in 2017. Its iconic design features three volumes framing mountain, sea and city views—backed by Dananshan Mountain, facing Shenzhen Bay, and embracing the urban skyline. Open terraces, cascading staircases and a rooftop garden blend seamlessly with the waterfront, offering unobstructed sea views and stunning sunset vistas.

Along the central axis, three plazas (Cultural, Central, Waterfront) link art, commerce and nature, with blue granite and white marble echoing the sea and sky. More than an art hub, it's a poetic dialogue between architecture, nature and urban life.
