Located in Xining, Qinghai, China Tibetan Medicine Culture Museum is the world's only national first-class museum dedicated to traditional Tibetan medicine and culture, opened in 2006. Divided into north and south wings, it houses over 60,000 artifacts, including 158 national first-class relics. Its crown jewel is the 618-meter-long Thangka—a Guinness World Record masterpiece depicting Tibetan civilization. The north wing showcases Tibetan medical classics, ancient surgical tools and herbal specimens, while the south wing displays Thangka art, costumes and religious artifacts.

Blending traditional Tibetan architecture with modern design, it preserves the 1,300-year heritage of Tibetan medicine, a UNESCO-listed intangible cultural heritage. A cultural landmark on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, it offers an immersive journey into Tibetan wisdom and artistry.
