The March Street Festival, or "Sanyue Jie", is a grand traditional event of the Bai ethnic group in Dali, Yunnan, with a 1,300-year history. Held from the 15th to the 21st day of the third lunar month (usually April) at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, it's also known as "Guanyin Fair" or Third Month Fair.

Originating as a Buddhist temple fair in the Tang Dynasty, it evolved into a bustling trade hub and cultural gala. In 2008, it was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage. Today, it features thrilling horse racing, archery, and wrestling, plus vibrant folk performances like Bai antiphonal singing, dragon and lion dances. Visitors can browse stalls selling herbs, tea, handicrafts, and local snacks, experiencing the rich Bai culture and the lively fusion of commerce, sports, and art.
