Namtso Lake is one of the three sacred holy lakes in Tibet, situated between Nyainqentanglha Snow Mountain and northern Tibetan grassland, at an altitude of 4,718 meters. It is one of the highest large alpine lakes in the world.

The lake boasts crystal-clear blue water, vast and boundless, blending seamlessly with the blue sky and white clouds. Surrounded by rolling snow-capped peaks and endless wild grasslands, the scenery is grand and pure. Prayer flags flutter along the shore, adding strong religious charm to the land.

Deeply worshipped by Tibetan believers, Namtso is a sacred place for pilgrimage. Its tranquil lake surface, holy mountain backdrop and primitive highland style make it a stunning natural scenic spot and a spiritual paradise on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
