Located inside the Jiayuguan Scenic Area, the Jiayuguan Great Wall Museum is China's first specialized museum dedicated to Great Wall culture. Opened in 2003, its beacon‑tower‑shaped architecture blends harmoniously with the ancient fortress.

With an exhibition area of 2,700 m², it houses over 2,200 artifacts, including 297 precious relics. The permanent exhibition Soul of China traces 3,000 years of Great Wall history from the Warring States to the Ming Dynasty. Highlights include ancient weapons, Han bamboo slips, and a massive oil painting Ten Thousand Li Great Wall. A vivid "textbook of the Great Wall", it vividly connects the frontier defense, Silk Road trade, and cultural legacy of northwest China.
