Located 15 km north of Lijiang Old Town, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is an iconic 5A scenic spot and UNESCO World Heritage Site in Yunnan. It consists of 13 snow-capped peaks, with the highest Shanzidou rising to 5,596 meters. The peaks resemble a silver jade dragon soaring among clouds, hence its name.
