Created by renowned director Zhang Yimou's team, Impression Sanjie Liu is the world's first grand mountain-water live performance staged on the Li River in Yangshuo. Twelve karst peaks and glistening river waters serve as its boundless natural stage, with mist, moonlight and shifting weather forming unique live backdrops every night.

Over 600 local Zhuang ethnic performers and fishermen interpret the timeless legend of Liu Sanjie, the legendary folk song fairy, via melodious ballads, graceful dances and stunning light shows. Scenes of glowing fishing rafts, rippling water reflections and ethnic ritual dances unfold across the river, blending Guangxi’s Zhuang folk culture with Guilin's peerless karst scenery.
