Known as the North Pagoda, Haibao Pagoda stands in Haibao Temple, northern Yinchuan, a landmark alongside Chengtian Temple Pagoda (West Pagoda). Its origins trace to the 5th century, rebuilt by Helian Bobo, ruler of the Xia Kingdom. The present structure dates to 1778, after an earthquake destroyed the earlier one.

This 9-story, 53.9-meter-square brick pagoda features a rare"Ya"-shaped plan, with protruding central sections on each side. Its green-glazed finial and simple, elegant lines reflect ancient Chinese architectural ingenuity. Inside, a wooden spiral staircase leads to the top, offering panoramic views of Yinchuan.A National Key Cultural Relic since 1961, it blends Buddhist art with frontier culture, embodying Yinchuan's historical charm.
