Located on Hailing Island, Yangjiang, Guangdong Maritime Silk Road Museum is China's national first‑class museum and 5A scenic spot opened in 2009. It's dedicated to the Nanhai No.1, an 800‑year‑old Southern Song merchant ship, a landmark of China's maritime trade.

The museum's iconic "Crystal Palace" houses the fully salvaged wreck in a huge water tank, allowing visitors to watch ongoing underwater archaeology.
