Located in Qinzhou District, Tianshui, Gansu, Fuxi Temple, also called Taihao Palace and Human Ancestor's Temple, is China's largest and best-preserved Ming-Dynasty complex honoring Fuxi, the legendary ancestor of the Chinese nation. Built in 1483–1484, it's known as "China's First Temple".

The grand, symmetrical complex features four courtyards along a central axis, with iconic structures like the Xiantian Hall housing a 3-meter painted Fuxi statue. Sixty-four ancient cypresses stand in the layout of Fuxi's 64 hexagrams, blending I Ching culture with architecture. A sacred site for global Chinese to trace roots, it hosts the annual Public Memorial Ceremony for Fuxi, a national intangible cultural heritage. More than a temple, it's a cradle of Chinese civilization and Fuxi culture.
