Located in Nanhai District, Foshan, Nanhai Guanyin Temple was originally built in 990 AD (Northern Song Dynasty), with a history of over 1,000 years. Rebuilt and reopened in 1996, it is now the largest Buddhist shrine in Foshan.

A masterpiece of imperial-style architecture, it mirrors Ming and Qing palace design, with a grand marble "Imperial Path" carved with nine dragons and lotus patterns along its central axis. The temple is fronted by a 30-acre lotus pond, whose blooming flowers and fragrant breeze create a serene, picturesque setting.

Backed by Phoenix Mountain, the complex features majestic halls, including the Guanyin Hall and Mahavira Hall. It draws countless pilgrims, especially during the annual "Guanyin Treasury Opening" fair. A sacred blend of imperial grandeur, natural beauty, and ancient faith, it stands as a pearl of Lingnan Buddhism.
