On the south bank of Jinjiang River, Wangjianglou Ancient Building Complex is a iconic cultural landmark of Chengdu, dating back to the late Qing Dynasty. Centered on Chongli Pavilion (Wangjiang Tower), it was built in 1889 to commemorate Xue Tao, a renowned Tang Dynasty female poet.

The 39-meter-tall wooden pavilion, with green tiles and golden spires, blends northern grandeur and southern delicacy. The complex also includes Zhuojin Lou (Bro Washing Tower) and Yinshi Lou (Poetry Reciting Tower), featuring elegant corridors and classical gardens.

Surrounded by over 150 species of bamboos, the complex harmonizes ancient architecture, poetic heritage and natural beauty. As a key cultural relic under national protection, it offers a glimpse into Chengdu's poetic soul and Bashu cultural legacy.
