Built in 1988, the Grand View Garden (Beijing Daguanyuan) is a skillfully designed classical garden based on Dream of the Red Chamber (Hong Lou Meng) by Cao Xueqin of the Qing Dynasty, one of China's four best classic fictions. Located in the southwest of Beijing. 

The garden features traditional Chinese pavilions, bridges, ponds, rockeries, and lush greenery, all meticulously designed to match the descriptions in the novel A Dream of Red Mansions. It serves as a living representation of the luxurious lifestyle and artistic tastes of the aristocratic families depicted in the story. 

Visitors can explore the various courtyards, halls, and scenic spots that correspond to the residences of the novel's main characters, such as  Jia Baoyu,  Lin Daiyu, and Xue Baochai.
